JIM NAUGHTEN

Jim Naughten is an artist exploring historical subject matter using stereoscopy, photography and painting.

His work is an idyllic sanctuary for those who wish to see beyond the physical, who wish to peer into the tropics of a parallel universe, a colour-soaked haven as delicious as sugar. His work imbues the familiar with a touch of the unknown, creating worlds the distorted lens of history veils in myth and intrigue, an immaterial oasis of the imagination

Naughten’s work has been widely featured in exhibitions across Europe and the US and includes solo a show at the Imperial War Museum and group shows at the Royal Academy of Art and National Portrait Galleries in London
